About Radford University

Radford University College was established based upon the desire of its founders to provide a unique learning experience for students coming from all levels of the community. The programs are designed to foster entrepreneurial spirit, economic development, and both professional and academic research that will enhance the community of Ghana and impact on the global village.

Accreditation

The school is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana.

Entry Requirements

WASSCE/SSSCE:

A pass in Core English and Core Mathematics, in addition to a pass in one of the following Core Subjects; Integrated Science, Social Studies/Life Skills.
Passes in any three (3) relevant Elective Subjects.

The aggregate score for the core and elective subjects must be not be more than 24 for SSSCE holders and not more than 36 for WASSCE holders.

 

G.C.E Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificate Holders

Credit Passes in at least Five (5) Subjects (including English Language, Core Mathematics and a Science Subject) in West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or School Certificate Examinations, and three (3) Passes at the G.C.E Advanced Level. Two ‘A’ Level passes at grade ‘C’ or better will also be accepted. A pass in General Paper must also be obtained.

The following categories are also eligible to apply:
• HND
• DBS or Diploma from any recognized institution
• RSA Stage II & III
• Post-Secondary Teacher Training Certificate from a recognized institution
• Professional certificates from recognized professional bodies
• Association of Business Executives.

Mature Students: Persons applying for admission to Bachelor’s degree programs who have attained the age of twenty-five (25) but do not satisfy the above requirements will be classified as Mature Students. Such students must have reasonable education and working experience. All mature students will be required to write the Mature Candidates Entrance Examination and must have passes in English and Mathematics.

Visa and Accommodation

1. Applicants from the ECOWAS region do not require a visa. For countries outside of ECOWAS, kindly go to the nearest Ghanaian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate to apply for a visa. Take the visa processing time into consideration before booking your flight.

2. The institution has its own fully furnished hostel facility that caters for the accommodation needs of students. Additionally, there are surrounding hostels in the immediate vicinity that range in prices and facilities available to meet the needs of students.

US$4,500 – US$6,200 per year.
