Wisconsin International University College was established in January 2000 and has emerged as a leading University in Ghana. Since its formation, Wisconsin has carved itself as a unique brand that distinguishes itself from other private universities. Accreditation

The school is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and is affiliated to the University of Ghana-Legon, the University of Cape Coast, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University for Development Studies (UDS).

Entry Requirements

a. WASSCE and SSSCE
Candidates must have six credits (A1-C6) in English, Mathematics and Integrated Science (Biology or Agricultural Science for Nigerian applicants) or Social Studies, and three elective subjects, making an aggregate of no more than 36. For SSSCE, candidates must have six credits (A-D) in the three Core Subjects and three electives, making an aggregate of no more than 24.

b. Mature Students
Candidates must be at least 25 years old and must write and pass an entrance examination in English, Mathematics, IT and General Business. They may also be required to attend an interview.

c. Others
Applicants with GCE, ICGSE, GBCE, ABCE, Baccalaureate, Professional Courses (ICA, ACCA, CIM etc) and HND, among others, contact us for levels of placement.

 

Applicants from Non-English Speaking Countries

Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to have the English Proficiency test. If you do not have, the school will enroll you on the English proficiency test with the duration of 1month, 3months or 6 months depending on your strength at a fee.

Visa and Accommodation

1. Applicants from the ECOWAS region do not require a visa. For countries outside of ECOWAS, kindly go to the nearest Ghanaian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate to apply for a visa. Take the visa processing time into consideration before booking your flight.

2. Your Admissions Coordinator will arrange for your accommodation. You have the option of staying in a hostel or an apartment depending on your financial resources.

3. You will be provided with a resident permit on your arrival.

US$1,510 – US$3,905 per semester.
